Have you bought a new blouse, skirt or pants made of Acetate when you are washing them for the first time be sure to soak them in a container filled with one gallon of water and a teaspoons of salt for up to half an hour to hold their colors and prevent fading.

i read various messages and as i had grease on a long dress i took the bull by the horns............rubbed washing up liquid on the grease stains and washed in hot (but not too hot but not warm as i needed to dissolve the grease) water finished off in the usual way...ironed with a steam generator iron and it has come up great.....
