Normally used for lining other fabric. Looks silky, but can come in other textures. Washing instructions depend on what fabric the acetate is lining. Acetate itself can be washed on wash code 6 or 8. Wool lined with acetate mixtures should be hand washed carefully. Use warm water with a cold rinse and a short spin. It myst not be wrung.
Iron while still damp but re-soak the whole garment if it gets too dry. Do not sprinkle water on it or the finish will be blotchy.
Acetate is dissolved by solvent stain removers, and by vinegar, so never use them in an attempt to remove stains.
