This is used for making bedspreads and dressing gowns because of its warmth, It comes in a variety of colours and the tufts make a variety of patterns. Used to be made entirely from cotton, but now, to reduce the price, it is often mixed with synthetic fibres. Wash according to the more delicate fibre. Shake well after washing to restore the pile.
