Fabric care of Chenille

This is used for heavy curtains and tablecloths; can be pure silk or synthetic. Clean according to the fibers used to make the chenille. It has a raised pile and often comes in very plush colors, which may run in the wash so wash separately at first. If the chenille is very old, the material is often rather delicate, so it is preferable to wash carefully by hand or dry clean.
