Fabric care of Chintz

This is cotton with a glazed finish on its right side. It is traditionally printed with flowers and used for furnishings. Old chintz should be dry cleaned. Modern fabric can be washed, but should be treated carefully when still wet. Do not rub or twist. Do not treat with starch. The final rinse must be cold to prevent excessive creasing. Iron while still damp.
