Fabric care of Crêpe

Crêpe is usually thin with a wrinkled, bumpy texture and is made from a variety of fabrics. Some crêpes have to be dry cleaned, so follow the care label. Otherwise wash in warm water by hand. Crêpe must be ironed on the wrong side while still damp. Crêpe de Chine is of lighter weight with a slight shine. Made from silk or synthetic fibers. Treat according to the fabric, iron on the wrong side when damp.
