Usually made from cotton, although it does now appear in synthetic mixes, with white warp thread and colored, usually blue, weft thread. Hard-wearing but it does shrink in the wash. Tends to wear in patches and the color fades. Wash on its own as the color never really becomes fast, Iron while still damp.
