Fabric care of Suede

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions. You can never hope to clean suede jackets and coats successfully at home, so don’t try. However, you can cope with the odd mark. Fuller’s earth well rubbed into the surface, then left in for ten minutes before brushing out with a soft brush (NEVER a wire suede brush) may do the trick. If the skin is tired looking, hold the area over a bowl of boiling water, let the steam penetrate and brush up the nap with a rubber brush.
