I washed my suede jacket

I bought an expensive very soft suede jacket in a beige colour but every time I wanted it cleaned to remove make-up etc it was going to cost me £40, so I put it in my washing machine on a 40 degree wash and it came out like a new jacket, when it was drying I kept reshaping it. It certainly saves on dry cleaning bills.

great advice! Comments By: Ann Thanks so much for your tip. Suspected washing machine would be ok but didn't dare try until I read your tip. VERY expensive pale blue suede skirt now good as new washed at 25 degrees on delicate wash with delicate washing liquid. Hung on line to dry. Saved me £28 dry cleaning bill and they couldn't guarantee they would get it clean!
