Ingrown toenail. Advice to fix Ingrown toenails

Submitted by L. Lopez

Put callous/corn removal liquid on the spot for two days. After the skin starts to dry up, use a OTC anesthetic, like Ora-Gel to deaden the painful area.

Pull off the old, dead skin. Add more Ora-Gel. THEN use nail tools to work out the ingrown nail, and clip it off.

Make sure the pain-causing tip is found and clipped off. It starts to heal the same day. Relief!

When you clip the nail you are likely to leave a rough edge, making it more prone to continue growing in the same way. It should be filed down to smooth it out.
