Use the correct oils for ringworm

Submitted by Experience counts

The following oils are anti-fungal oils that can be used for topical treatment of ringworm.

1. Tea Tree oil.
2. Lavender oil.
3. Clove oil.
4. Cinnamon oil.
5. Neem oil.
6. Thyme oil.
7. Peppermint oil.
8. Oregano oil.

They can be alternated and mixed with a carrier oil, such as Olive oil, Coconut oil, or Vitamin E oil if there is skin irritation. Use these oils on the ringworm. A processed sugar-free diet combined with garlic and coconut, yogurt, fruits and vegetables will take care of the inside and bloodstream. Sea-salt 1/2 tea spoon mixed in warm water on empty stomach used during ringworm condition will kill off the internal fungi as well.

RINGWORM - A Fungal Infection Comments By: Anon on 2009-04-03
The most commonly used essential oil for Fungal infections is Tea Tree. Lavender can also be used or blended with Tea Tree. Both of these essential oils can be applied to the lesions. You should apply 2-3 times a day. There are other essential oils that can be used these are mixed with a carrier oil. This is strong, but sometimes necessary as ringworm can be hard to get rid of. Mixing with a carrier oil allows the essential oils to remain for a longer period of time. Try this blend: Tea tree 25 drops. Lavender 15 drops. Geranium 5 drops. Peppermint 5 drops. Vitamin E 1 capsule. Blend all together and apply mixture 2 times a day to the affected areas. For extremely stubborn fungal infections prepare the following and use 2 times daily on the affected areas. Thyme - 4 ml. Oregano - 2 ml. Cinnamon - 2 ml. 1 ounce Sweet Almond Oil. Fungal infections thrive on sugar and starch, so it is imperative to avoid sugars, starches and oil foods during a fungal infection. Fruits, vegetables are preferred diet with plenty of mineral enhanced clean water. Vitamin supplements C, A, E, Zinc, and garlic should be taken daily to fight fungi internally as well as building up the immune system. Also, apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon, 1/2 squeezed lemon juice, or 1/2 tea spoon sea-salt to warm or hot water can be taken morning or night to kill internal fungi and other parasites. Remember, to drink enough plain water to wash out the dead fungi. One might want to use a probiotic to restore good bacteria in the stomach and gut flora, also. Plain yogurt and sauerkraut consumed regularly are natural probiotic foods as well. OTC anti-fungal creams such as Lamisil, Lotrimun, Tinactin can be used once a day, too.
