Don't ignore your food processor because you can't face cleaning it. Check the instruction manual; the bowls of many models can be cleaned in the dishwasher, although 'top rack only' may be specified.

The bowls of food processors have been known to crack right in the middle of processing. Don't remove the food; just tape the crack temporarily with several layers of masking tape, then finish processing. Replace the bowl at the first opportunity.

To prevent leaks between an average size bowl and its cover, never fill it more than half.

Nothing is wrong with your processor if food is left on top of the disc after slicing or shredding. It's normal.

Avoid over processing foods: use the pulse button to chop. Check the food frequently to make sure that it's not getting mushy. Chill meat thoroughly before processing - this prevents it from being liquidised.

If you have some pastry scraps, throw them into the processor along with some sesame seeds, honey, brown sugar or a zesty spice. Children and adults love biscuits made this way.

The comment was very good.Umm, it really gives detail on how to use it, what can be used in it, and how to clean it.It too, says what to do to it in case it cracks.I thought that was a very interesting fact. Thanks
