To preserve a greeting card, coat it with a light film of hair spray.
Use last year's Christmas cards to make this year's postcards. Tear a card apart and cut the front to postcard size. Glue it to a piece of white card if it is not thick enough. Draw a line down the middle of the back and write your message on the left side and the address on the right.
If you find a card with just the right message but you don't like the picture, glue gift wrapping paper or your favourite photo over the front.
Make gift tags by cutting down last year's greeting cards, folding them and punching a hole in the corner for a ribbon. Use pinking shears to make an attractive edge.
For an attractive greeting card, use a leaf as a stencil. Fix it to a sheet of stiff white paper or a note card with a dab of glue, then spray-paint. After the paint dries, just strip away the leaf.
