If you use a permanent tint to cover up grey hair, it is better to go one or two shades lighter than darker, it is less ageing.
Since grey hair tends to be dry and wiry, use a conditioner every time you shampoo. Keep your hair well trimmed for manageability and to prevent split ends. For a more youthful look, avoid a rigid, overdone hairstyle.
If you're just beginning to turn grey and would like to conceal it, use a semi-permanent colorant that matches your original hair colour and which washes out after around six washes.
Your grey hair may look better than you think. Try to enjoy it rather than change it.
