To remove grease build-up and stains from a nonstick pan, mix up one of these solutions:

  • 3 tablespoons non chlorine bleach
  • 1 teaspoon washing-up liquid
  • ½ pint/285ml water

or

  • 3 tablespoons dishwasher powder
  • ½ pint/ 285ml water

Put whichever solution you choose into the pan and simmer for 20 minutes; then wash, rinse and dry the pan. Finally, prove the pan's cooking surface with a fine film of oil.

I used the dishwashing powder and a pan full of water--worked like a charm!
