Be careful of 'nose fatigue'. If you've been wearing the same perfume or aftershave lotion for a long time, you may not smell it as easily as others do. If the scent is obvious to you 30 minutes after application, you've probably over-done it; dab surgical spirit or a paste of bicarbonate of soda and water on the perfumed area, and then wash it off.
For a light scent, spray your perfume in front of you and then walk through it.
To make your fragrance last longer, apply it after your shower or bath, while your skin is still damp.
To co-ordinate scents, spray a little perfume onto your bath powder, close the container tightly and allow it to dry.
If you lose the stopper for your perfume bottle try the eraser on the end of a pencil.
Never leave perfume or aftershave lotion in direct sunlight; keep it in the refrigerator or a cool dark place to help prevent evaporation and deterioration.
