If your hands are puffy, hold them over your head for a couple of minutes; repeat at least three or four times a day. Lift swollen feet and keep them raised for a minimum of 15 minutes.
If too much sun causes your lips to swell, use a sunblock (SPF 15) specifically designed for lips.
Around the eyes
Since many moisturisers plump up the skin, apply them sparingly around your eyes or try using a special eye cream.
The cause of your puffiness may be water retention; cut down on salt and eat more bananas and grapefruit, which are natural diuretics. Raise the head of your bed or sleep on two pillows to keep your head elevated.
Apply soothing compresses of cold milk, cucumber slices, borage tea, or a mild astringent over your eyes for 15 minutes at the end of each day.
Throw away your frosted eye-shadow, it accentuates puffiness.
