Isn't it annoying when your batteries run out on your Walkman/CD player? Instead of throwing them away you can make them last an extra 20 minutes or so by warming them up. Simply take the batteries out and put them under your arm, or better still down your pants - although this will attract strange looks if sat on a train.
Leave for 10 minutes and then place back in your Walkman.
