Combs and Brushes. Clean a Brush or Comb the easy way

A very simple way to keep your brush or comb clean is to just throw them in with the laundry. Wash as usual. Be careful not to put them in the dryer, though. Just drip dry.

This is the problem I have with this suggestion Comments By: Suzann Every time I've tried this either a brush tine or rat-tail end of a comb gets stuck and bent/ruined in the holes in the washer. I was looking on this site to see if anyone had a suggestion about how to resolve that problem. I tried just using a gentle cycle and not letting it spin dry but rather scoop the items out and rinse under the tap but they still were getting stuck every-which-way in the washer holes. :(
