A really good idea is to try and prevent the build up of hair that can accumulate on your brushes. I know it is a chore but it will make it easier in the long run. To give them a real good clean you can sprinkle some baking soda directly onto the brush or comb and then spray with vinegar. You get a lovely foaming reaction. Leave for 5 or 10 minutes and rinse clean.
