For clean smelling drains and disposals I use the peel of a whole lemon or grapefruit and run it through the disposal. An aromatherapy alternative to using baking soda or vinegar.

theres an easier way Comments By: paul forget all those hassles go the easy way, all you have to do is pour bleach down all your drains at the same time, put the plugs in, to hold down the smell. leave it for 10-15 minutes then flush it out with water and no more smell for months.for the toilet, turn off the valve. put bleach in the tank and flush it down, then fill up the tank with water. right away. then after 10 minutes flush it to rinse. works everytime.
