If you have spilt nail varnish onto your carpet and catch it when it is still wet it can be removed by applying "Swarfega" (hand cleanser for Mechanics) and scrubbing with a nail brush until removed, once completed the effected area should be sponged with warm soapy water. Swarfega does have a distinctive smell and may need shampooing to remove it or Fabreeze.
