Clean a leather sofa with baby wipes

Use baby wipes to clean your leather suite - the ones with lanolin work especially well. They clean brilliantly but are gentle and moisturising.

Comments By: anon i have always used this method usually on a daily basis as i have a scruffy 6 yr old and a staffy that thinks she can sleep on the sofas when im not looking.also many of my friends use baby wipes but i find the johnsons skin care wipes the best or any other shop brand with baby lotion in.   PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS Comments By: Leather Agony Aunt - Consultant to the industry Baby wipes are just about the worst thing you can use to clean leather. They are an alkiline product designed to neutralise the acid in urine and will destroy the finish on your leather (even if you can't see it happening). We send technicians out all the time to rectify this problem. Use water based cleaners and protectors and do not use anything containing oils, waxes or silicones   hmmm!
