Use white vinegar neat to kitchen roll or cloth. Wrap around badly scaled taps etc for one hour, scaling disolves, then wash with warm water and buff. Also for discaling of inside of kettles etc RATIO one part white vinegar to 10 parts water,leave to stand over night and rinse well.
