For scuff marks on linoleum or tile, first try a clean cotton cloth. Place it under your foot and use your body weight to rub it right off, that's it!

This help tip didn't work at all are you supposed to put something other than water on the rag

TipKing Says: The tip does not say anything about water on the rag. I am sure it is meant to be a dry rag.
