This is a tip that saves me huge amounts of work. Whenever I refill any containers, coffee, sugar, salt, spray bottles etc., I always place them in the sink. If you spill, just wash it away. Get in the habit of using the sink as part of your counter-top, and you will have much less mess. My husband has FINALLY learned this trick!
