Listerine stops birds plucking feathers

Submitted by Glenda

If your bird is plucking his feathers make a solution of 1 part Listerine and 9 parts water and spray the bird daily - works like a dream

Dry skin Comments By: Tracey
I would just try it with plain water, as the water would be helping with the feather condion and dry skin. Using a product with alcohol in it may dry out the skin. You could add an edible oil such as almond oil/massage oils work also. Olive oil is to coarse to be absorbed by the skin. A baby bath "soap free" bath soap will help the oil to dissolve in the water.
