Muddy Paws. Tips to stop muddy paws

Submitted by Alia

Dogs bring in mud and dirt everywhere, ecspecially if they were just playing or taking a walk. I suggest having 2-3 old towles by the front and back door.

As soon as you let your dog in, close the door to the mud room (or if you don't have a mud room, put up gates to a tiled room, or hold your dog by the collar outside) and towel dry.

After a walk, keep the towels by the front door and wipe on your porch. Trust me, it works!! Another good idea is to have baby gates (you can even make slideing ones yourself) so you can gate up a tiled room when your best bud is MUUUDYYY.

We do this exact thing with our dog but I thought it was just common sense to keep an old towel by the door!!

I get ready a bucket of warm water and dip their feet in one by one, then dry off! I have 5 dogs and our house is spick and span with this tip!
