Use three or four curtain poles to make your own adjustable laundry dryer; attach them at each end to a cross piece of wood and use a pulley to raise and lower the drying rack as required.

Comments By: Hal Schmidt on 2006-06-10 By the time you procure the pulley's, rope,screws,timber etc,your costs have far exceeded the factory produced article.The factory version is SAFE.This idea is not as it is tied back to a wall bracket.[Dangerous] The Lazy Suzey has been around for decades in various forms.Check out the item listed under Laundry section on trademe.co.nz and you will see why the homemade idea is dangerous and NOT CHEAP.
