Refrigerator door easier to open

There is a rubber seal all round your refrigerator, freezer door. It can be such a good seal sometimes that it can become difficult to open the door.

To make this easier to open rub a small amount of washing up liquid on the rubber. This will ease the suction and make it easier to open.

works but.... Comments By: Andrea from Sacramento on 2008-08-31 "wash up soap" should be changed to solid hand soap. In the kitchen, we wash up with liquid dish soap. No amount of that soap worked, but trying with a bar of hand soap , did the trick.
