Insecticides and pesticides

All insecticides and pesticides are poisonous to human beings as well as to pests. It may be better to live with certain creatures than to risk being poisoned yourself. Remember that some poisons can accumulate in the body. Use all pesticides with extreme caution. Do not spray over or near food, pets or elderly or very young people. Leave the room for some time after spraying.

Alternative

You can get ultra-violet products which will electrocute flies - though they will also kill moths and other harmless flyers. Pyrethrum powder (a product derived from the pyrethrum plant) will get rid of cockroaches and mosquitoes; wormwood and fleabane will get rid of fleas. Get a cat to keep mice away.
