When you've spilled something that could stain, grab the salt shaker and start shaking. The salt absorbs the moisture and cleans the stain right out of the carpet. If you have a set in carpet stain, dab the area with a little peroxide. Be sure to test your carpet so you aren't going to take the dye out first!
Treat your carpet with a little woolite on the stain, rinse with cool water to get dirt and soil stains out of the carpet.
