Hot soapy water to Clean a thermos bottle/flask thermal Carafe

I personally just pour hot soapy water in to the thermos flask and allow it to soak for a few minutes. Then using the long handle of a wooden spoon I push a small dish cloth down into the flask. Rubbing inside using the wooden spoon handle, and then hooking out the cloth. Rinse clean.
