Shower curtains. Tips for cleaning shower curtains

Cleaning your shower curtains need not be a chore with these great tips:

Add fabric softener when washing your shower curtain and the bathroom will smell fresh for weeks.

Cleaning your shower curtain is easy. Soap film is the most likely cause of stain on your shower curtain. Place several large bath towels in the washing machine along with the shower curtain. Add half a cup of vinegar. Remove curtain before spin cycle and hang immediately.

If your shower curtain seems about as flexible as the Iron Curtain, try rubbing some baby oil on the shower rod. A bar of soap also works well. Either way, your curtain will slide more smoothly.

Mildew cant stand salt water. So dip it in salt water before you hang it. That unsightly mildew will be a thing of the past.

If your shower curtains are already in the grimy grip of mildew, rescue them with a lemon. Wash the curtains in hot, soapy water and then rub lemon juice on the mildew. After you let them dry in the sun, theyll be as good as new.

To get your shower curtain sparkling clean, soak it in warm water and baking soda.
