Skunk smell in your home

If you have a smell of skunk in your home you will probably find that it is coming from your dog. Give your dog a wash using the following recipe to rid that smell:

• 1 quart of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
• 1/4 cup Baking Soda
• 1 teaspoon liquid soap / dishwashing detergent

Mix all the above in a bucket or bowl. Thoroughly wet your pet with the solution. Knead it well into his coat being careful to keep the formula out if the eyes, nose and mouth.

You can use a sponge to carefully wipe it onto his face. Once finished rinse the animal thoroughly with clean water.

Another tip to neutralize smells on your pet by washing them in tomatoe juice, this can be expensive for the large dog, but well worth the price compared to the smell!

Skunk smell not on the dog!!! Comments By: Chris My mother has a skunk under her house and has sprayed under there, and the smell is now in the house. Since she doesn't own a dog, and it's winter here and we can't just open the windows, how do we get rid of the smell. I just set a trap outside the house for the smelly thing.
