Knitting needles. Storing knitting needles, crochet hooks or cable needles

Knitting needles can be a problem to store, by their very nature they are sharp and smooth and love to slide out of bags. Here are a few tips to help you store your knitting needles, crochet hooks or cable needles:

  • Looking for somewhere to store your crochet hooks or cable needles? A plastic toothbrush holder is great for this job.

  • Keep your knitting needles organized by slipping a small rubber band around pairs of needles.

  • Storing knitting needles can always be a problem. Here is a clever idea. Use one of those long cardboard tubes that are left over after your kitchen foil runs out. Cover one end with sticky tape and pinch the other end closed. Slide your knitting needles in for secure organized storage.

  • Slot needles into a piece of curtain tape for secure storage.

  • Are you always looking for a tape measure whist sewing? Mark off one knitting needle in inches and use as a tape measure.
