Save shoe polish

After all the shoe polish from the center of the tin has been used, hold the tin over low heat. The polish from the sides will melt, forming a new cake in the center that's easier to use.

Please take care when heating the shoe polish as shoe polish is flamable.

It Works Comments By: Rob I normally place the shoe polish can, minus the lid, on the coffee pot warmer and let it melt. Once it has melted, turn off the warmer and leave the polish in place until it has cooled. Using a lighter is way to hazardous. The wax can catch on fire very easily.
