Linseed oil furniture polish

Mix equal parts of turpentine, Boiled linseed oil and vinegar, with some lemon oil. Wipe into wood and wipe off excess with a soft cloth. Be sure you are using BOILED linseed oil.

i tried boiling linseed and it burst into flames, needing some very quick action to avoid a house fire. Please include warnings, or at least tips to avoid disaster.
