Eating the yolk off an egg raw is not good even for a dog.
Use only the white

shiny coat Comments By: rose
raw eggs are dangerous because of the chance of salmonila poisoning, but if your pet's coat isn't shiny, you may need to feed a better quality food, or there may be a health condition to explain the dull coat. High protein diets sometimes can harm pets that may have a problem, i.e. kidney disease. Check with your vet.

Nooooo Comments By: Anon
Eggs are the same to dogs as they are to us, eating them raw is dangerous, if left out on un-eaten food it gets way more dangerous. Yolks are high in cholesterol, dogs are not immune to it.

Eggs are NOT evil Comments By: Brian
Lots of misconceptions here about eggs. We have a farm and we raise chickens and sell eggs. Our dogs have always gotten the broken eggs, raw. Having grown up in the prairies the dogs and cats have always gotten raw eggs. Todate I have never seen any of the animals harmed by eating raw eggs. No samonila and NEVER any overweight dogs from high cholesterol. Mass produced eggs are high in cholesterol because they are nutrient free, free-ranged birds produce a yolk thats very yellow/orange loaded with nutrients and little cholesterol... Bottom line.. go ahead and give your pet an egg it doesn't hurt them.. unless they are overwiegh and under-exercised.

quality cat food Comments By: Diana
Best way to give your cat overall good health and a shiny coat is quality cat food. Saves on vet bills, too, since you will need their services less often. I've been doing this for 5 cats now, works like a charm, and makes the cats happier, too.

Tuna Juice Comments By: Theresa
Give your cats the juice left over when you open a can of tuna. It adds good fish oils to their diet and makes there coats look great. Not to mention they love it!!!!
