Decongestant medication for painful ears

To help relieve pain in the ears when the plane begins its descent, take decongestant tablets which are available without prescription at the Chemist. Start to take the tablets, as stated on the box, a couple of days before flying and time your flying day dose so that you take one tablet about half an hour before the plane starts the descent. Everyone I have passed this tip on to say it works.
