Rubbing alcohol words SOME Comments By: prattmama on 2004-10-09 I've tried rubbing alcohol a number of times for the tougher marker stains on our dry erase boards. It gets a good portion of it off, but never all of it. You can still read the writing on the board, but it's faint.
