You really love your dog, but you hate to spend so much money to spoil your dog. You don’t have to spend lots of money to spoil your dog – but we are going to show you exactly how this is done. Some of these ‘things’ you might already be doing, and some you can take a bit further to spoil your favorite pet but what ever the case you can strengthen the relationship you have with your dog by doing more of these ideas more often!
Go for walks
Take walks in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening when ever possible. Your best friend loves to be outdoors and for more than just to go potty! Take a walk to the garden; take a walk up the road, or to the park. Spend some time with your dog on a leash just having a nice brisk walk – both of you will get the exercise that you need.
Bath time
Your dog is going to need groomed and bathed, but taking him to the groomer every month can be expensive. Put him in the tub and let him soak. Doing this two or three times a month is going to help you get smells under control plus you are going to have one on one time with your dog. The touch of an owner and the hugging of the owner is a number one spoil effect that you can have with your dog! Make him feel loved as you bath him.
Dog Nails
Your dog’s nails are important for their protection, for their comfort and for use in running among other things. If you take your dog to the groomer, you will find that often you can have your dogs nails painted. You can also do this at home. What you need to do is find a brand that your vet recommends as non harmful, in case your dog eats that paint off their nails all the time, and then paint your dog’s nails. What is best about this is that you are spending time up close and with your dog and they feel important, spoiled is the result.
The Hair do
No matter how long your dog’s hair is, you can use ribbons to ‘pretty’ them up and add to their flair. What you need to do is find a ribbon that matches their personality and their gender, from there, you can add it to their tail, to their collar, to their hair between their ears or you can put ribbons where ever you like. It is important that you put the ribbons on securely and watch the dog so that they do not try to eat the ribbons off their body and potentially choke as some dogs like to bite and each the pretty little ribbons.
