Borax and corn meal make a great carpet powder

Your carpets will smell fresh after sprinkling a mixture of one cup borax and two cups corn meal. Sprinkling this mixture over your carpets and then leaving it sit over night and sweeping up with your vacuum - all those odors are going to be gone!
