The best way to cure acne is to allow our Lord and Saviour into our lives. By living in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and having faith to believe that he can do miracles in you, if you ask from the bottom of your heart, your acne will be cure. Are you joking? Having a personal connection with jesus will not do any justice to anybody's skin. That's like saying that if you let god into your life your bosoms will grow and not sag or that you will grow taller and be slender like a model. And also didn't god create you in his own likeness so if you have acne he wouldn't care because he would likes you just the way you are. How about the young man who just got a brand new heart after a young girl prayed for him .you can laugh, but his family is rejoicing,and his Doctor is shocked. my friend prayed and when they opened her up , the Doctor couldn't believe she had new kidneys....so God creates and also re-creates...what is so difficult about a problem like acne? Guys I know it sounds prety crazy what he's sayin. But think about it!! God created us right.. OK so God also created everything in and outside of us right.

So I suppose that would mean God also created acne and of course we have to suffer with things like this because we are all born into sin.

I don't know about you guys but I know that I don't want to take the chance on losing out of receiving what God says He has planned for those who will follow Him. I know none of us want to receive the things God says He has waiting for those who choose not to follow Him. So think about your life for a moment..... is it worth it to give God a chance and ask His Son Jesus to forgive you for all the lieing, stealing, and the list goes on.. of sins that we are all guilty of.

I think the cool thing about it all is that God gives us our own free will to decide if we are going to follow Him or to follow the wickedness of the world. The choice is up to you guys. I hope you guys examen you hearts seriously for a minute and think about you life and the things you've done and make a decision if you want to continue your life the way of the world (Lets not forget that the Bible says once we are born into the world our father is satan, and it's not until we receive Jesus into our hearts that satan no longer has a hold on us...only if we let him)

I know you may think alot of people give God a bad name and you are all exactly right on that, but why are you so worried about what someone else is saying or confusing the world with. All confusion comes from satan and he'll use anyone he can (of course only those who aren't living for God) unless you give satan a hold on your life)

The Bible makes it pretty clear that God will give us all the desires of our heart but of course our desires change once we are living for Him so if acne is a huge obstacle in your life and if it bothers you that much... then give it to God because God is bigger than it sounds like a lot of you think He is. If God created the acne don't you think that He can make it clear up.

Think about it... if God didn't care then your heart, your breathing, and many other amazing things about us wouldn't work. The Bible says "you have not because you ask not" God just wants a relationship with you and if just take the time to ask Him for something as silly as clearing up your acne.. then you bet He cares enough to help you out!!!! But first you have to ask for His help.

I pray God reveals Himself to you guys and help you understand that we all have wicked hearts and that He can help us no matter what it is or no matter how unrealistic it may sound. You guys are all awesome!!!

I don't have anything bad to say to ya if u pray for clear skin, but i think u should pray for the Lord to give you strength to get you through these tough times that u have to go through with your acne. God is real and He made us, so He could certainly clear up acne. but you need to take into concideration that He is not there to get rid of a zit that we worry about! if someone truely belives in Him, and worships Him, then they would know that He is not there to deal with our stupid acne problems! if you are not religious and do not belive in Him, you cannot just decide one day that you want your acne gone so you are going to pray to God and expect Him to get rid of it for you! this entire thread is quite interesting. I, too, am a Chrisitian and do believe in the power of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to do any and all things, no matter how great or small. It is impossible to please God without faith. Therefore if you don't believe he can do it for you, then that's you. No on is suggesting that God has so little to do he has time to cure your acne. The suggestion is that God is so powerful that he can take care of all the 'big' stuff and definately take care of a little problem like acne. That is commmon sense. There is nothing he can't do and he is concerned with us and if the problem is cancer,HIV or acne, he can handle it and doesn't laugh at the fact that you came to him with your problem. He fixes it and that is the truth and for those who haven't trusted God, you have nothing to say about those who have and do and have gotten results. God is nothing to be played with so be cautious at how you respond. Don't say the first thing that comes to mind just because you think it sounds cute or funny. Instead you should pray for some wisdom, knowledge and understanding so maybe you,too, can one day testify to Gods'power working in your life.

I don't think that prayer for healing your acne is selfish. For one, Jesus healed many skin diseases, remember that guy with leprosy? I know that I pray for God to heal my acne, but i ALSO pray that he gives me the hope and faith to trust in Him, and give it up to Him. No wonder there are so many children starving in Africa or Parents with young children who are dying of Cancer and no wonder there are murderers and rapists on the loose. God has been too busy curing peoples acne and changing traffic lights to green for people who are late for meetings then to intervene. It all makes sense now, no wonder there are so many bad things happening in this world, God has just been too busy fixing the lives of 'real' Christians with minor ailments/worries/annoyances then to sort out any of the real issues in the world. I had really bad acne when I was about 17 years old. I was also a hardcore atheist and hated my parents who were always telling me to go to church and dragging me to their Bible studies. Girls used to laugh at me and call me zitface.

Then my parents took me aside on day and said that Jesus used his powers to heal the sick back in his day and he still does today. They bought me a special acne cream that was blessed by their priest.

They told me every night I had to pray to Jesus to cure my acne and rub the cream on my face. After the first two bottles I didn't think the prayer would ever work, but when I got past the third and opened the fourth, my acne was gone! When I first realized my skin was clear, I got down on my knees sobbing and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior right there and then. It was the happiest moment of my life. Amen!!

Jesus tells us we can ask for anything in His name. And God is not limited by time or space, so helping someone's acne does not interfere with feeding the hungry or healing the sick. However, I'd go for visiting a dermatologist, saying a brief prayer for the acne, and saying many prayers for a closer relationship with God, who will make you a lot less concerned about the acne.

Ok the tipster is evidently weak in faith. First of all for those unbeliever let me first defend the character of God. God is soveriegn and has absolute power and authority all one has to do is look up and see what has been made, and then look within and see humans lack the power to create what evidently points to a MUCH MUCH higher power than our selves. God is infinite and his wisdom and knowledge is inifinite. We are finite therefore the finite cannot contain or comphrend all of the infinite. Now for the acne comment. Becoming a christian is not about all your problems being solved. If one just do a little bible study one will see the the christian life is a life of struggle trials and tribulation, because we are in a world that rejects God therefore they will reject his people and God is not going to swoop in an put the christian in some bubble, christian catch hell just like everybody else. Christians, REAL christians not someone who is just claiming the title for thier own self centered reason. But if you examine the real christian you will see a man/woman full of sorrow, but through God we can smile through the tears. Can God cure acne? of course he can, what kind of silly question is that? Dont forget we are talking about the exalted trancendant eminent almighty holly God that created the universe and brought everything into existence just by the command of his own word. Dont be silly. I'm sure acne is less than nothing for God to eradicate. Now, will God cure your acne? Unless there is some redemptive reason that is for the advancement of his Kingdom directly tied into your pimples... you need to go to the drug store and buy you some clearsil and nuetrogena or ask God to give you contentment with the way he created you. The christian life is not about having all your prays answered its about excepting the fact that you have sinned against God and God by right of his soverignty alone has the right to require that his own creation account for violating his law. So if there is some over the counter medication or home remedy that is good for acne? this is prolly one of the funniest things i ever heard of in my life...ive gone to a private catholic school for 11 years and i been learning about God the whole time....and i do know he doesnt give a shit about the acne on our faces..we shouldnt be praying to him for beautiful faces cuz thats like the stupidest thing in the whole world...Jesus told us that vanity is a sin anyway and praying to him so what do you call praying for a pimple-less face so you can look good for everyone else?? i mean i do put my faith in God for alot of stuff, just not for unimportant crap like that.. its not like he's gonna judge us on how much acne we had when we were alive, and nobody else should be judging each other for what people look like either..

Acne is a skin disease, and just like any other disease it hurts and affects every areas of one's person's life. Other people who have acne may not care, then again others may suffer not only physically but emotionally, financially (buying and experimenting stuff that only works temporarily), psychologically and socially (definitely affects one's self-esteem)! What's wrong with trusting Jesus for this matter? if others can trust him for Cancer???? it's both a disease 'though may have a different pathology and severity...if a person is really hurting with the disease and tired of finding natural cure. JESUS is really the answer. The Bible has a lot of healing scriptures you can meditate on and allow your spirit to be filled until it manifests in your body. I was healed of a serious auto immune disease BY GOD. I was crippled by systemic lupus erythematosus for many years. I now live a pain and drug free life. I can stand and walk as long as I want. Don't be so stupid. If you can't muster the faith to be healed then find out how to get more faith. Of course many people don't want to be healed but if you do, get serious and find out how. If you need a church look for one where you can KNOW and FEEL the presence of God and meet people who can give good testimony of what God has done in their lives. It's not in God's will for anyone to suffer any type of disease/illness/pain! Our God is faithful, and if we put our complete trust in him, of course he will hear us and heal us! I recommend anyone who is suffering to meditate on God's word everyday, to really have the scripture inplanted in our hearts. No prayer is to small or to big, and for those who do suffer from acne, Having faith is all you can do. There are so many promises out there from skin care experts and some many miracle cures they claim work but none of them do. Having faith is key but also just taking care of your body. Like drinking tons of water,eating lots of veggies including water crest and aloe vera can be helpful. Washing your face with a mild cleanser and a hydrading lotion can aid your skin. And just developing a health self image can make you feel like a million bucks though at time that can be challenging. So just pray alot , eat healthy , and love alot. later

Jesus can heal all areas of our lives if we believe and take action on our faith. If we do not believe, if we do not take an active role in faith, He won't heal us. Doubt will only keep us where we are. It will be an endless cycle. This is trusting in God that he will lead you to the proper medication to cure your face. But faith without action is dead faith. You must do something. First believe, then act. Now to the aim of healing acne as a matter of selfishness, it may or may not be that way, this pertains to the individual, and only the Lord knows the heart.
