An Old Sock makes a great reusable Heating Pad

Take an old, white, gym sock and fill it with rice (the really cheap stuff). Tie it closed, and heat it in the microwave for 3-4 minutes. At first it will smell like cooked rice krispies, but in time that goes away. I've been using the same one for about 9 months.
