Toothbrush diet. Have you tried the Toothbrush diet

We get overweight by eating too much and exercising too little.

To stop over eating use your toothbrush to control your eating. 

How can this be done? Easy.

After your evening meal, immediately clean your teeth by flossing and brushing them. Rub your tongue across your teeth and feel how clean they feel.

Whenever you get the urge to eat later in the evening, rub your tongue across your teeth and ask yourself "Do I want to spoil my lovely clean teeth"? Answer "No"

In no time at all you will not think about wanting to eat after you have cleaned your teeth at night. You can watch the weight come off, thanks to the Toothbrush Diet

Not everyone cares about how clean their teeth are when they get hungry. Most people don't, actually... But it's a nice idea.

that would work except for the simple fact that I would eat anyway and just brush my teeth again when I was done thats the thing about a tooth brush you can use it as many times as you want lol

I hate to disagree with the people that though this idea doesn't work, but when one is/feels clean, they have a subconscious desire to stay that way. This diet discourages unnecessary snacking.

To the first submitter: that's precisely the point! This diet would help you decipher between true hunger and false hunger. False hunger you crave bad foods like sweets and junk food. True hunger, you crave healthy stuff. Some people need these "bandaids" when they are first starting out with a lifestyle change. I have to say it works for me. I am really hungry right now and I don't want to eat something sugary that will give me bad breath. I am even considering eating crunchy raw carrots. Imagine that!

The point of the toothbrush diet is not that your teeth are clean but that after brushing your teeth nothing taste good. Try drinking a soda or eating an apple, you will find that the taste is pretty disgusting because of the toothpaste taste still in your month.
