Choosing the right pet

Choosing the right pet for your children could become a very hard decision to make. Ask yourself and your children if you’re ready and able to provide a safe and loving home. Go over all the responsibilities that come along with owning a pet. There are a wide variety of pets and each has its own pros and cons. Let’s cover the different kind of pets, the expense of each and the responsibility that goes along with each one.

A dog would be a good companion. With time and practice you could have him playing ball and fetching items. A dog is more likely to love you more than any other pet.
Dogs take a lot of time and energy to care for. Some people are allergic to dogs.
Every dog needs the room to run around especially large ones. You will need to feed your dog twice a day and walk him once a day and don’t forget the four or five times he needs to go outside to do his business. Dogs lose a lot of hair and need frequent grooming. If you go away you will need to find a dog sitter or kennel.
