Dog Flea Collars and fleas in the home

Dog flea collars really don't work well, for dogs, BUT, if you think you have fleas in your carpet, place a new ( or slightly used ) dog flea collar in you're vacuum cleaner bag, and the fleas will die in there rather then just being vacuumed up.
