When you clean the kitty litter, put aluminum foil down all around the litter box. Cats hate the feel of it and will not "go" beside the litter box when it starts to get a bit full.The foil is also helpful in that you can hear the bits of litter hitting it when kitty covers up her deposit and will remind you to scoop!
