After trying several "home remedies" to get diesel fuel smell out of a pair of jeans. I took full strength Dawn Dishwashing liquid, poured it directly on the jeans, rubbed it in, let it soak overnight and the smell was completely gone.... I couldn't believe it.I tried everything from baby oil, to baking soda, to "Odor Eliminator" products on the market. Plain Old Dawn directly applied did the job..
